Parents and Guardians:
The New Year has started off with a blast of unusually cold weather. In order to keep parents/guardians updated on the district's inclement weather concerns, I will be notifying you using the Alert Now system. If the school district will be closed due to inclement weather, you will be receiving a phone message to let you know that school will be closed. If your phone number has changed, please contact Greg Dirks, Technology Coordinator, at the Delavan School District, 244-8283 or by email at dirksg@delavanschools.com. Attached with this information page, is a helpful Child Care Weather Watch handout indicating information regarding wind-chill and heat index.
